Collograph printing
This is one of my favorite drawings that I want to try with collograph printing techiq.
First I draw up the design on a thick cardboard.
Then I cut out some of the outlines with a scalpel and added different structures and materials with wood glue.
The cardboard is painted with schellack to be a bit strengthened.
The paper is prepared by dipping in water and then placed between dry paper to get the right humidity.
Oil Paint placed on glass slides and rolled into the rollers. I first tried primar colors, red, yellow and blue. Later I also printed with paynes gray and black.
I was not satisfied with the primary colour prints but I left some of the colours stay on the cardboards while adding new colours and print them again.
